For this project in Wisbech, our customer Karen was looking for a complete refurbishment of the family bathroom, transforming a tired and outdated space into a modern, practical room that better suited everyday family life.
The existing bathroom included a bath that was no longer required, limited storage, and finishes that no longer reflected a contemporary style. The goal was to remove the bath and install a walk-in shower, improve storage, and create a clean, modern look using low-maintenance materials throughout.
A sleek, contemporary design with smart storage solutions was a key priority for this refurbishment.
The customer wanted:
A full bathroom refit
Removal of the bath and replacement with a shower
Hydrowall panels instead of traditional tiling for a modern, easy-clean finish
New vanity unit and toilet
Vinyl flooring for comfort and practicality
Electrical work to include a modern illuminated mirror
A contemporary finish with storage firmly at the heart of the design
To achieve the transformation, we supplied and installed a full suite of products and carried out all associated works, including:
Complete strip-out and full refurbishment of the existing bathroom
Removal of the bath and installation of a modern shower area
Hydrowall wall panels, providing a seamless, waterproof, and low-maintenance alternative to tiles
A contemporary vanity unit and toilet, offering essential storage and clean lines
Vinyl flooring, ideal for family bathrooms due to its warmth, durability, and water resistance
Electrical works including a stylish illuminated mirror, adding both function and ambience
All works were carried out as part of a complete project package, ensuring a smooth, hassle-free experience from start to finish.
The finished bathroom is a modern, family-friendly space that feels brighter, more open, and far more practical. By removing the bath and introducing a streamlined shower and integrated storage, the room now works perfectly for daily use while maintaining a contemporary, stylish appearance.
